Project
Project Description
This website is set up to provide general description and data release for the Rice Population Panel Reference project based on Asian rice (Oryza sativa), i.e., 16 PacBio platinum stranded genome sequences, which will be a great of benefits to the Oryza community.
In this project, we sequenced and assembled 16 accessions representing major subpopulations of O. sativa (when K=15) and 2 closet wild species, i.e., O. rufipogon [AA] and O. punctate [BB]. Based on the high-quailing genomes, we did the transposon elements (TEs) uniform gene annotations for each accession by using the RNASeq and IsoSeq from each individual. The structural variations (SVs), especially the genome-wide inversions (INVs) were detailed studied.
Impact Statement
We share this large valuable dataset to facilitate future genomic investigations on this rice and realted species.
